La Britana is owned by Juventino Mirón and has been in the family for more than 60 years. Juventino used to work at the farm when he was younger and later on, he purchased it and today, La Britana is one of the 4 farms owned by him and his family. It is located in El Cerrito, Fraijanes with an extension of about 18 ha and an altitude going from 4,400 to 5,000 feet. In total, between the four farms, they produce around 825 bags of green coffee. The name La Britana comes from Great Britain and was given by the first owners of the farm. Some varietals they produce are Catuaí and Catisic. Juventino and his family also own a roasting company, mill and an export company who is managed by him, his two sons Nelson and Gerardo, and daughter Angélica.

We are actually working with them this year to process the coffees at their dry mill and they exported our container this year, along with 3 other exporters for diferent coffees, but they were our main exporter and everything went very smoothly! I am very excited to work with them and love what they have achieved, they actually build a whole dry mill in 3-4 months so they could start processing this year for small buyers like us! and the sorting and quality control was excellent. I work very close with Hector, their Quality Control Manager and Q-grader since I started Terranegra 4 years ago and trust him a lot.
