I have been away for a bit...
/I made my initial post weeks ago and then I have not posted anything since then. It has been a pretty crazy month. It started with our oldest son, Matt having his tonsils out. He was having sleep apnea issues and he always sounded like Darth Vader when he was sleeping. Have you ever tried to keep a five year old from jumping, wrestling, running or eating a crunchy snack? Lets just say it is almost impossible. During this time we also decided to potty train our youngest, Landon. Sometimes I wonder what where thinking. We managed, but it took a couple weeks to nurse Matt back to health and get Landon (relatively) accident free!
Then my father in law had a pretty serious health scare that took us up to Portland for a couple days. Things are on the mend now, thankfully! Tuesday was our oldest sons last day of Pre-K. Its amazing how great school is for that little guy. He has built such fun friendships and just comes home and tells us all about his day and what he learned!
So today we welcome summer. Our family is excited for all the adventures. It will be mixed with lots of outdoor fun; parks, bike rides, camping. Us oregonians deal with rain all winter (and spring) so we can enjoy our summer.
